A spring trip to the Angstman Family Cabin

A pair of Bethel guys organized a ski trip from Bethel to Dillingham through Wood-Tikchik state park. Their main goal was to reach the Angstman cabin on Chauekuktuli Lake, within the park. Tomas Israelsson skied, and Eric Whitney provided snowmachine support. They made it to the cabin through Heart Lake Pass, and encountered extremely deep snow. The pictures of their visit to the cabin are contained in this slide show. They continued on to Dillingham, and then Tomas flew home, while Eric went the coastal route home through the Togiak, Goodnews Bay and Quinhagak.
